چکیده
In this study, a family of second order process based modified Patankar Runge-Kutta schemes is proposed with both the mass and mole maintained in balance while preserving positivity density pressure time step determined by convection terms. The accuracy analysis conducted to derive sufficient necessary conditions for coefficients. Coupling finite volume method, are extended Euler equations non-equilibrium reacting source Benchmark tests given prove prior validate positive-preserving property pressure.

Calculation of Complicated Flows, Using First and Second-Order Schemes (RESEARCH NOTE)
The first-order schemes used for discretisation of the convective terms are straightforward and easy to use, with the drawback of introducing numerical diffusion. Application of the secondorder schemes, such as QUICK scheme, is a treatment to reduce the numerical diffusion, but increasing convergence oscillation is unavoidable. The technique used in this study is a compromise between the above-...
متن کاملUnconditional stability of parallel difference schemes with second order accuracy for parabolic equation
In this paper we investigate the parallel difference schemes of parabolic equation, in particular, two kinds of difference schemes with intrinsic parallelism are constructed. Firstly we combine the values of previous two time levels at the interface points to get the (Dirichlet) boundary condition for the sub-domain problems. Then the values in the sub-domains are calculated by fully implicit s...
متن کاملConstruction of low dissipative high-order well-balanced filter schemes for non-equilibrium flows
The goal of this paper is to generalize the well-balanced approach for non-equilibrium flow studied by Wang et al. (2009) [29] to a class of low dissipative high-order shock-capturing filter schemes and to explore more advantages of well-balanced schemes in reacting flows. More general 1D and 2D reacting flow models and new examples of shock turbulence interactions are provided to demonstrate t...
متن کاملSplitting Schemes for the Simulation of Non Equilibrium Radiative Flows
This paper is devoted to the numerical investigation of radiative hydrodynamics equations. We focus on non–equilibrium regimes and we design asymptotic preserving schemes which can handle the corresponding stiff equations. Our study includes relativistic effects and Doppler corrections.
متن کاملSecond-order splitting schemes for a class of reactive systems
We consider the numerical time integration of a class of reaction–transport systems that are described by a set of ordinary differential equations for primary variables. In the governing equations, the terms involved may require the knowledge of secondary variables, which are functions of the primary variables. Specifically, we consider the case where, given the primary variables, the evaluatio...
